Supportive Housing Services
Through person-centered planning, those we support develop living arrangements that meet their individual needs and desires and connections that enable them to become valued members of their community. The Arc of Howard County has found that those directing their own lives grow in confidence and self-worth. Some people choose to live alone and others have one, two, or three housemates with staff support that ranges from drop-in assistance to 24-hr nursing care. Among our community and family services are transportation, support with medical needs, finances, personal care, recreation, and more.
All applicants must be approved and awarded funding by DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) in order to receive services.
To apply for Residential funds please go to the Maryland DDA Application page.
