Masks, Face Shields, Gowns, Safety Gloves, and PPE Remain a Critical Need for The Arc of Howard County

Masks, Face Shields, Safety Gloves, Gowns, and PPE

Thanks to the generosity of the community and local businesses, The Arc of Howard County has received face masks of all types…from KN95 masks to medical-grade masks to homemade masks and even ones made in-house by our nursing staff. But, the need for face masks and PPE continues to be great.

Thank you also to the United Way of Central Maryland for their donation of 100 KN95 masks! We appreciate everyone’s continued support! Special Shout Out to Beth Littrell, Director, Community Engagement and Volunteerism at United Way for making this happen!

An Act of #COVID19Kindness shout out goes out to Scott Spedden – Farmers Insurance and Financial Services. Scott…knowing The Arc of Howard County needed PPE…donated 100 face masks! Scott, thank you for giving back to the community! Can you help? Please donate here.

Another Act of #COVID19Kindness shout out goes out to the kind folks from the Maryland Communities Unite A-S-A-P Facebook Group. Thank you for donating Face Shields for our staff as we continue to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes during the Covid-19 pandemic!

BIG Thank You to Integral Components, LLC! Mary Cosden Keiser heard that our Direct Support Professionals were in need of Personal Protective Equipment and Integral Components donated 100 Face Shields to The Arc of Howard County! People are good! Want to donate to purchase masks, gloves, face shields, gowns, and PPE?
