This is a reminder of The Arc of Howard County's office and program closings for the holidays. The Arc of Howard County​'s Employment, Day Program, and Supported Retirement and The Arc Transportation Services will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th, 2019, and Wednesday, January 1st, 2020. If you are supported by The Arc of Howard County and work on December 25th, 2019, and/or January 1st, 2020, please contact your Employment Specialist. The Arc of Howard County is a grassroots organization established in 1961 by parents of those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) with a mission for their children to live a life outside of the then institutional model. Our mission continues today as we provide a wide range of community-based services for almost 250 people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families annually in the Howard County community. The Arc of Howard County is the oldest and largest non-profit organization in Howard County that provides services to the IDD population.
